What is “The Pastor’s Prayer Partners?”
This is God’s ministry and yet He has chosen us to partner with Him in it. He has chosen us to join Him to stand in the gap for Pastor and our church. Pastor, is always sharing about being in a small group, this is what this is - a small group praying together for Pastor and North. With God’s help, we want this ministry to be as seamless as possible, with everyone doing his or her part.
We need to cover our Pastor and our church in prayer, so that God can bless Pastor as he faithfully stands fast and preaches the Word. Our prayer is that God will grow His church with the increase as only He can give.
We desire North to be a beacon of light in our church and community, as we seek to glorify God. As Prayer Partners, we pray that God will raise up others who would like to be a part of this ministry.
The following is the Suggested Prayer Guide for the next four months. One of the most effective ways you may minister to Pastor Jimmy is to pray for him throughout the week and during Sunday Worship Service.
These are guidelines only....
4 Things to Pray for Pastor during the week:
1. That the Pastor would be led by the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14
2. That he would humble himself in the sight of the Lord. James 4:10
3. Accuracy as he presents the truths of scripture. 2 Timothy 2:15
4. That Christ would live through him. Galatians 2:20
“A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” Ecc. 4:12
May God bless you as you pray for our Pastor and for North,

Pastor’s Prayer Partners Meeting ~ December 14, 2016
Our hearts desire in this ministry is to see what God is doing from conception until He brings forth what He wants to do through us for His glory and honor. Prayer is not only expecting an answer to our prayers, but more importantly, it is getting to know the God we are praying to. Changes take place not when we study about prayer, not when we talk about it, not even when we memorize beautiful Scripture verses on prayer; it is when we actually pray that things begin to happen. God will not only change the ones we are praying for, but He will change us. Change takes place from the inside out. God is the only one that can bring victory through all that plagues us when we pray; God enters into the supernatural problem with His supernatural wisdom and power.
Prayer does not fit us for the greater works, prayer is the greatest work! Prayer is a battle. Never allow the thought of, I am of no use; be something that you ponder or entertain, because God knows exactly where you are and if He has dumped you down in some circumstance, pray. James 1:2 says; “count it all joy when you fall into various trails,” “knowing that the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.” Psalm 37:23.
I am so truly thankful to each of you, for your commitment to the ministry. We are partnering for the greater work. What an astonishment it will be when the veil is lifted and we see the souls of men and women, boys and girls and the lives that we have impacted and God has changed because we dared to pray and have been in the practice of taking everything to God in prayer and taking our orders from Jesus Christ.
Draw neigh to God and He will draw nigh to you. Remember what Pastor said in our last meeting. He used the acronym of the word W.A.I.T. When we go to God in prayer, take time to wait, give Him our adoration for who He is, and then intercede in prayer, and then give Him our thanksgiving to the one worthy. When it is our time to pray, sit silently before the Lord, so He can speak to us before we speak to Him; confess any known sin, knowing that if we regard iniquity in our hearts, He will not hear us. (Psalm 66:18) Crystal and I always read a Psalm before we pray. There are other books you can go to; it is between you and God.
My prayer has always been, Lord, teach me to pray, so God is guiding and leading and teaching me through this ministry of prayer, so let us seek the Lord while He may be found and call upon Him while He is near on our faces before God in prayer.
